At City Movement Church, we believe raising children is one of the greatest callings God gives to parents. And we also believe you were never meant to do it alone. Being rooted in a loving church family provides support, encouragement, and spiritual partnership as you lead your children in the way of Jesus.

Our prayer is that City Movement would be a place where your children are known and loved, build life-giving friendships, grow in their faith, and personally encounter Jesus.

Child dedication is a beautiful biblical practice. In Scripture, we see parents dedicating their children to the Lord — including Mary and Joseph presenting Jesus at the temple (Luke 2:22). Jesus also welcomed and blessed children, showing their deep value in His Kingdom (Mark 10:13–16).

At City Movement Church, child dedication is a public commitment made by parents or caregivers. It’s a moment where you express your desire to build your home on the foundation of Christ — loving God wholeheartedly (Deuteronomy 6:5–7) and raising your child with intentional, Christ-centered guidance (Ephesians 6:4).

It’s also a commitment from us as your church family. We stand with you, promising to pray, encourage, and help cultivate an environment where your child can develop a sincere, lasting faith.

Each dedication is a joyful celebration. Families come forward during a worship gathering, our pastors pray over you and your child, and our church community commits to walking alongside you in this journey.
